Most fitness apps are built around one metric: did you train today. Streaks, rings, red dots — all pointed at the same goal, which is getting you to open the app and sweat. Recovery, mobility and food end up bolted on as secondary tabs, if they exist at all.
That split shows up as three separate apps on a lot of phones — one for workouts, one for macros, one for step counting — none of which talk to each other, and none of which treat a rest day as anything other than a missed one.
Noa is a studio project: a fitness app where strength training, HIIT, mobility, recovery and meal planning share one home screen and one visual language. We designed and built it in house, end to end — the full screen set, the training taxonomy, the meal flow and the visual system behind all of it.
Workouts, meals and recovery live on the same home screen — not three apps fighting for attention.
Strength, HIIT, mobility, core and recovery as equal categories, not recovery as an afterthought.
Skip, change or confirm a meal in one tap — a plan that adjusts to the day instead of one you abandon.
A lightweight friends layer — see who's active, without turning fitness into a performance.
A single type and color system carried from the splash screen through every in-app surface.
One React Native codebase targeting iOS and Android from day one, no separate native builds.

“We wanted a project that put strength and recovery on genuinely equal footing — most fitness apps don't, no matter what the marketing says.”
